Born From a Hobby. Built Into a Legacy.

Heathen Haus started as a father-daughter project. Dad volunteered to help his daughter’s beekeeping hobby — and found a passion of his own for the craft and the business behind it. She fell in love with the bees; he fell in love with turning that love into something real. Today she’s our contracted baker, filling the tasting room with homemade bread and crackers. Together, we’re building a legacy.

That’s still our mission today: we’re here to turn local Montana production — honey, grain, and grit — into legendary food and beverage for everyone who pulls up a seat at our table.

We’re a Montana born-and-raised, veteran-owned operation. Our fresh honey and honeycomb come from our starter farm, King Bee Farms, and our tasting room serves handcrafted mead alongside house provisions — pickles, kimchi, bison sausage, venison jerky, and more — all made in-house.

We’re proud to be pursuing Montana Made certification — when you see the seal on our products, you know they were raised, made, and bottled right here in Montana. As a veteran-owned business, we’re also building support for Hives for Heroes, giving 3% of profits back to veteran beekeeping programs. We’re chasing a dream, one hive and one bottle at a time, and we’d love for you to be part of it from the start.

From the Hive to the Table

In the tasting room, we pour handcrafted mead alongside house-made provisions crafted right here in Montana:

  • Pickles — house-fermented, small-batch

  • Honey-Glazed Kimchi — our own spin on a Heathen Haus original

  • Bison Sausage — from a local Montana bison ranch

  • Venison Jerky — cured and dried in-house

  • Fresh Honey & Honeycomb — straight from King Bee Farms

  • House-Smoked Charcuterie Boards — Montana-grown cheese, produce, and locally raised meats, coming soon to the tasting room

Every board on the table is as local as the honey in your glass.
